The brief was to create a peaceful green oasis for the clients to escape to after a hectic day.
As the clients have busy work schedules the garden needed to have an area imediately to the rear of the house that they could sit out on and enjoy evening sun during the warmer months of the year.
A hardwood deck forms the main terrace by the house, which then leads off to a rectangular lawn with planting beds either side of it. As you move through it becomes increasingly informal as loose planting amongst a gravel path lead to to the informal seating area. Here pebble seats with a fire pit create a private entertainment and relaxation space
Three green oak frames with climbing jasmine trained along focus the view towards a specimen multi stem Cornus kousa at the end of the garden.
Construction is due to begin in the autumn 2019.
